June Alma (Harris) Jenkins

June Alma (Harris) Jenkins, age 93 of Kansas City, MO crossed over Wednesday, November 6, 2024. She was born on October 26, 1931 in Brookfield, MO to the late Rollie and Ethel Harris. She married Bobby Jenkins on Thanksgiving Day November 22, 1962. Bobby preceded her in death on August 19, 2012. They had 3 children from this union Caroline, Ethel, and Noble. June worked for Menorah Medical Center as a supervisor of Environmental Services until her retirement in 1993. She was an avid sports fan. The Kansas City Chiefs were her favorite football team. She enjoyed reading, cooking and spending time with family. This earthly angel touched the hearts, lives and spirit of family and friends. Her passing will leave a tremendous void in the lives of all who had the great privilege of knowing her. June is survived by her daughters, son, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws.
