Joseph Williams

Joseph Williams 76 passed away on August 25, 2015 was born October 2, 1938 in Kilmichael, Mississippi to Lorine Baskin and Early George Williams. He received his early educion in Kilmichael, Mississippi. He moved to Kansas City, Missouri with his parents and other sibling. He was raised up where the church of God In Christ was his teaching. He was preceded in deh by his parents and granddaughter Almagene Shante Williams. Joseph was very soft spoken and always had a kind giving heart to all those th knew him. He was loved by so many. His life work included being a chef and being an auto mechanic. He was employed with Indian Hills Country Club and Jasper’s Restaurant for many years. In his spare time he enjoyed working as a mechanic for anyone who needed his help. In June 1957, Joseph joined holy mrimony to his first wife Inez King to this union there were seven children. Ler in 1974, he joined holy mrimony to his second wife Jean Young and to this union there were two children. Both marriages were dissolved. He leaves to cherish his memory: his daughters JoAnn Vineyard, Ivory Joe Lake, Joetta Davis, Shirley Joe Finch, Josetta Sims, Lisa Williams; his sons Joseph Williams, Jr., Jonhan Williams, Tony Williams, ; sisters Claudine Blake, Ruth Davis, Mae Pearl Slaughter, Dorthy Smith, Effie Holland, Mary Hargrove, Mary Ellis Turner, Cora Fayne, Brenda Smith, Michelle Williams; brothers Miles Williams, Fletcher McCaskil, Billy Williams, Sylvester Williams (Brenda), Moses Williams (JoAnn), Henry Williams, Jimmy Williams, Joe Willie Williams (Lailani), Andrew Williams, Numerous grandchildren and gre grandchildren ; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
