Obituary for John DeWayne Brown

John DeWayne  Brown 46 affectionely known as ‘John  John’ was born February 16, 1970 in Kansas City MO to the union of Helen Brown and John ’Bill’ Wilson. He made a profession of faith in Christ an early age and was baptized Zion Grove Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the Le Rev. A. L. Johnson, Sr. As a youth; John served on the Usher board and sang in the Choir. John tended  public school in Raytown, Missouri and achieved  G.E. D. John Enlisted in the United Stes Army in 1988, where he received specialized training in Air Defense Artillery Operions & Intelligence Assistance and Forward Area Alerting Radar Operor training. He also received awards for outstanding performance in boxing and achievements in grenades, explosives and mortars. Additionally, he was awarded for ‘Achieving and maintain a superior level of physical fitness’. John received an honorable discharge in April 1996. After serving his country, John moved to Fort Stewart, Georgia where he ler met and married Marcella Roberts. To this union, one child was born, a son, Tykeem  Brown  They ler moved and returned to Kansas City, MO.  He was employed Ford Motor Company where he worked for several years. John was a free spirit with a mind and will of his own. He loved dancing, freelance writing and sports. John had many good qualities and characteristics. To name a few, hew was kind, caring and very giving. John was also a very prive person who lived life his way. Gone too soon, John departed this life on March 15, 2016 the V.A. Hospital in Tucson, Arizona. Preceding him in deh were his grandparents Allen and Jimmie Lee Brown, Adell and Cherine Hardiman, Sr. and J.D. and Verice Wilson. He leaves to cherish his memory: parents Helen (Adell) Hardiman of Kansas City, MO and John ‘Bill” (Gloria) Wilson of Bertrand, MO; wife Marcella Brown of Hinesville, GA; Children Danielle and Brittany Morrow of Kansas City, MO. TyKeem Brown of lanta, GA, and Jaquese Roberts of Hinesville, GA; four grandchildren; sibling Nolita and Chandry Murray of Bertrand, MO, Gwen Anderson of Charleston, MO, Tonya Burnett of Saginaw, MI, Keith (Mavia) Hardiman of Oklahoma City, OK, Kenneth (Lindsay) Hardiman of Oklahoma City, OK, Thomas Hardiman of Kansas City, MO and Daniel Murray of  Bertrand, MO; a special Aunt, Dorothy Jones ( Who was like another mother and loved him as a son); two additional sisters-in-law, Tesha and Yolanda Roberts of Hinesville, GA; and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.
