John Blade, Jr.

John Blade, Jr. 79 passed away on June 20, 2017, was born on April 16, 1938 to the union of John Blade, Sr. and Julia Jones-Blade in Shreveport, Louisiana. John completed his elementary and high school educion in Shreveport, Louisiana. He tended college in Grambling, Louisiana and ler in Lubbock, Texas. Ler after moving to Kansas City. He began working for Palmolive. After some years, he began his career as a Machinist Norfolk Southern Railroad. John retired in 1996 after 35 years. John accepted Christ an early age and was baptized Trinity Baptist Church, in Shreveport, Louisiana. He loved to wch Christian Ministries on T.V. He had a love for BBQ-ing on his pio and was the life of the party family gherings. John leaves to cherish his memory: wife Rosie Blade; two sons James Blade and Marvin Blade; one daughter Sandra Blade; one brother Brady L. Blade, SR. (Dorothy) of Shreveport, LA; two sisters Renetter Singleton of Shreveport, LA and Ella Louise Greenwade of Melbourne, Florida; five grandchildren; and a host of other relives and friends..
