Obituary for Joan Pricia {Phillips} Clark ,

Joan Pricia {Phillips} Clark born to the union of Houston Samuel Phillips and Mildred Hopkins Phillips on March 15, 1934, raised and educed in Dallas, Texas. She tended BF Darrell Elementary and Booker T. Washington High School. She enjoyed home making and cooking. In 1950, returned to Kansas City, MO. During this time she met many obstacles and worked various hospitals: Whely, Queen of the World, the original St. Joseph Hospital, Old Lakeside Hospital, in between caring for elderly relives and her babies. In 1960, Joan met the love of her life and was married January 15, 1962 to William Aubrey Clark Sr. and to this union born Aubrey Ann Clark and Lyvette Lynn Clark. Joan & William had a beautiful life together over 57 years until his deh on December 30, 2018, Joan was employed by the Kansas City, Mo Board of Educion under TITLE 1 as Instructional Secretary in the Reading Lab Central Jr. High School and Manual High School. She was transferred to Paseo High School as Textbook Clerk. Also she completed the Certifice Program in Casework Consultion by the University of Missouri in 1981. She retired from the Kansas City, MO Board of Educion. After retirement she became an Office Manager for Metropolitan Lutheran Ministry assisting the Ste of Missouri for Energy Assistance and served as a Board Member for the Metropolitan Lutheran Ministry while receiving recognition of partnership in ministry honors. August 6, 1989, Joan Clark joined and was baptised The Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ under the Leadership of Bishop Daniel Chavis Jr. Ler her husband and some of the children joined. She served on many committees and the MotherBoard. She enjoyed and loved her church and tended with her husband and Family.. Joan was preceded in deh by her parents Houston Samuel Phillips and Mildred Savage, Husband William A. Clark Sr.and son’s Willam Aubrey Clark Jr., Samuel Philips, daughters Rae Lee Phillips, Aubrey Ann Clark, and Beverly Ann Bruce. .. Joan is survived by her Sons and Daughters, Milton Phillips, Standford Phillips, Albert Clark, David Clark, Anthony Clark, Lyvette Clark McDonald (Juan), Rhonda Clark, A very special Granddaughter Sharice Phillips, 12 Grandchildren, 13 Gre Grandchildren, 7 Gre Gre Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews and a host of other relives and friends.
