Obituary for Jimmy William “Myron” Morris
Jimmy William “Myron” Morris 60 passed away on January 31, 2016 was born to the blessed union of Willa Mae Criswell Morris and Asto Morris on April 1, 1955 in Kansas City, Kansas. In deh he was preceded by his parents, Asto & Willa Mae Morris and three brothers, Walter (Big Walt), Eugene (Gene) and Woodie Morris. Myron tended school in the Kansas City Missouri school district and gradued from Central High School class of 1974. He was employed by General Motors, Budweiser, AmTrac Railways, Carnival Cruises, and Kansas City Parks & Recreion. Most of all he preferred professional bartending. He had worked in many clubs as Mr. Pibbs, West LA, Kelly’s in Westport in the Kansas City area for many years and was especilly proud to do prive settings for Mrs. Georgia Buchannon. In his ler years he began to plant all kinds of flowers and adored this job. He worked in everyone’s yard no mter how bad it was. Myron could make a weed filled jungle look beautiful. He knew the names of every bush, flower and tree and recognized every weed. If you wanted to know exactly wh to plant Myron was the go to man. He continued this until his health began to fail. He was loved by all and was a fantastic uncle to his necies and nephews forever spoiling them with candy and kind encuraging words. Myron never met a stranger continuously walking around with a smile always greeting people. Myron was loved by all and will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him. To cherish his loving memories he leaves his daughter, Simone Morris; brother, Terrence Morris “Linda”; three sisters, McMeria Robins, Verple White and Stephanie McCray; Sister-in-law, Rhonda Morris; a host of nieces and nephews; gre nieces and nephews; special neighbor kids he treed as grandchildren, Jeremiah, Jamiah and Ayana Turner and their mother, Bridgett; good friend, Yvonne Bennett; friends, Anthony Garr, Fayetta Johnson, Sister P Barber and Debbie Adair and other friends and relives not mentioned nor forgotten. And let’s not forget all the children daycare who loved him with all their hearts.
