Obituary for Jessie Mae Robinson Stone

Jessie Mae Robinson Stone who passed away on July arrived into this world the first blessing to the union of Charlie B. (CD) Robinson and Lula Mae Eslick Robinson On May 23, 1931, Jessie departed from this life July 9, 2017. Her parents, siblings Charles D. Robinson, Kenneth Robinson, Leroy Robinson and Dorothy Jean Robinson preceded her in deh. *A thirst for wisdom and knowledge of God began St. John Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, continued St. Luke*s Baptist Church and St. Paul*s Baptist Church in Spencer, Oklahoma followed by Morning Star Baptist Church in Kansas City, Missouri. Jessie Mae served God by serving others in several capacities such as co-leader of the Early Morning Prayer Service with her husband Johnny Stone, Vacion Bible School, Women*s Missionary Union, the Music Ministry, Sunday School, and the Mother Board to name a few while being guided by prayer and instruction from the Carver Bible Institute. *Mriculing through the Oklahoma City Public School System after graduion from Douglass High School it was an expection to continue academic pursuits Homer G. Phillips in St. Louis, Missouri and General No. 2 in Kansas City, Missouri Schools of Nursing. During a social between General No. 2 and Richards Gebaur Air Force Base the phs of Jessie Mae Robinson and Johnny Stone met continuing the journey for 61 years. Johnny and Jessie, *Big Chief* as Johnny called her, united in holy mrimony November 28, 1955. Jessie Mae spoke fondly and passionely of her time in nurse training inspiring many family members to pursue th goal although she chose to marry, raise a family and include a career as a tax examiner for the Internal Revenue Service. *Jessie Mae Robinson Stone loved God and family cherishing her grandchildren as well as the gre grandchildren. Never a day went by where service failed to occur in the community or church as Jessie Mae quietly provided for the needs of both children and senior adults. Jessie taught us to love God, pray and serve people. *This legacy will be continued by her husband, Johnny Stone, children Dr. Jacqueline M. Brown (Dr. Harry E.), Johnny B. Stone (Victoria), Christopher D. Stone (Deonnah), grandchildren Kimberly P. Stone, DeQuan B. Stone, Stacih J. Turner (Preston), Shaqualyn E. Earle (Tarick), Christina R. Stone, Christopher D. Stone-Fuge, their mothers Bonnie Stone Grey, Cynthia D. Stone-Fleming, Stephanie Williams Stone, Rhonda Wooten, siblings Otis L. Robinson, Betty J. Robinson, Earnest E. Robinson, Claude E. Robinson (Gladys), Cherine A. Jones, Rosie L. Cranford (Rev. Billy Joe), Helen Williams, Marilyn Williams (Samuel), Alfred R. Robinson, aunts Pearly Brown, Juanita Leslie, her gre grandchildren, numerous relives and friends.
