Obituary for James Kenneth Hill

James Kenneth Hill was born June 7, 1960 to the union of Emma Jean Griffin (Brown-Simien) and James Webster Hill (JW). He was the second of five children. After a well spent life God called him into eternal rest on February 29, 2024. James was affectionately called Kenny by family and friends. James worked at Ford Motor Company in the Assembly Division, he concluded his time a dedicated worker at a young age due to an acute illness. Music and dance were the unforgettable hallmarks in his life. James loved Tupac, Soul Music, and a variety of other music genres. He would often woo the ladies with his awesome two stepping moves. Those moves made him quite the ladies man. Although he never became a member, James occasionally attended church with his Mother, Jean at Zion Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Emma Jean Griffin and his Father, James *JW* Webster Hill. James leaves the following to cherish his memories: brothers, Billy R. Griffin, Vernon D. Hill, and Calvin (Jan) Hill; sister, Linda R. (James) Harrison; along with a host of Aunts, Uncles, and other family members and friends. Services were held on Friday, March 15, 2024 at the Elite Funeral Chapel 11525 Blue Ridge Blvd. KCMO. Officiant was Bishop John Lewis, Jr., Pastor, Second MBC of Grandview.
