Obituary for James Arthur Craddock
James Arthur Craddock 59 passed away peacefully on August 10, 2015 was born to Clarence and Elnora Craddock on December 21, 1955 in Kansas City, MO. He lived in Kansas City all his life. He was preceded in deh by his parents, a sister Harriett Robinson, two brothers Edward and Clarence Craddock. James tended the Kansas City Missouri Public School System and gradued for the Job Corp with a heavy equipment operer license. He worked various jobs ~ cab drive, school bus driver, and for the city of Kansas City Public Works Department. James was baptized an early age and throughout his Christian journey, he tended several churches where he was an active member, All Saints Temple, Upper Room Prayer Temple, Rock of Gibraltar temple of the living God, and before his deh, Redeemer Fellowship Church. He was an avid Bowler, the family Dominoes Champion, and he loved to draw. He creed our family reunion t-shirt for the year 2002. He loved to act in his sisters Beulah’s play productions, but his greest love was singing. He sang with his brothers, with his nephews, and with various gospel groups in the city and with his family choir where he wrote two of the songs on their lest CD; Daily Walking—One on One, and You are the Joy of my life. James was loved by everyone he came in contact with; he had a talent for making people laugh and giving inspirion wherever he went. He never met a stranger. He loved the lord and his spirit was always joyful, giving smile to all. He never forgot a birthday and giving gifts to his nieces and nephews was his joy. Though he had no children of his own, he had many adopted and cared for, and the children loved him back. He played Santa Claus for them for many Christmas’s. James is survived by his brothers, George Craddock fo Ft. Washington, MD, Kenny Craddock of Indianapolis, IN, Harry Craddock, William Craddock, and Phillip Ford of Kansas City, MO; sisters Beulah Rowden, Leta Davis, Nina Golden, and Diane Craddock; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other friends and relives.
