Obituary for Homer Garland Quinn, Jr.

Homer Garland Quinn, Jr. 78 passed away peacefully on May 8, 2016 surrounded by family, was born on February 11, 1938 in Versailles, Missouri. He is survived by his wife Donna Quinn, step-mother Pty Quinn, and his sisters Michelle Morris, Judy Skinner, and Debbie McCaskey. Along with their children, Debbie Doty, Diane Ozburn, Denise Hoelscher, and David Quinn. Their grandchildren, Dennis Doty, Brian Doty, Carl Ozburn, Melanie Hoelscher, Laura Knop, David Quinn, Jr., Kaylea Perryman, Sherina Durossette, Sammy Quinn, and 11 gre-grandchildren. Homer lived most of his life in Versailles, Missouri. It wasn’t until he saw the love of his life and married Donna Holland on November 25, 1955 and they then moved to the Kansas City area. He worked most of his life in the automotive industry either working for General Motors or self-employed. In his ler years, he retired to the peaceful surroundings of the Lake of the Ozarks, where he enjoyed fishing. For continuance of medical studies, Homer has willed his body to University of Kansas Medical Hospital. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donion to Heartland Hospice.
