Gwendolyn “Olivia” Woodruff

Gwendolyn “Olivia” Woodruff was born on February 9, 1953 to the parents of Ester Lee Johnston and John Quincy Broadway in Troy, North Carolina. She was a devoted and loving wife, a gre mom, and a friend to many. Those who knew her, loved her dearly. She had a beautiful smile, was always caring, and always put the needs of others before her. She will always be remembered and loved by all who knew her. Olivia was called home on November 12, 2018. Olivia was preceded in deh by her parents, her stepfher Wilson Johnston, her brother Romero Hammond, and brothers in law Henry L Woodruff, Woodrow E Woodruff, Timothy K Woodruff, Leonard E Woodruff. Olivia is survived by her husband William M Woodruff, Jr, daughters Gwendolyn M Williams(Cordell) and Ester A Woodruff, son Woody L Woodruff, grandson Angel C Williams, stepdaughters Regina Miller and Carol Lindsey, and stepsons William M Woodruff, III and Marc Abbott. Olivia also leaves behind 3 sisters Diana Hammond, Lorraine Hammond, and Unita Johnston, 3 brothers Cleveland Johnston, Joseph Johnston, and William Lee Johnston, sisters in law Barbara Manley and Clarice Woodruff, brothers in law Noland R Woodruff, Ronnie P Woodruff, Michael Woodruff, and Marcus Woodruff and a host of numerous step grandkids, an aunt, nieces, nephews, cousins, in laws, and many, many gre friends.
