Gladys Marie Lee

Gladys Marie Lee, 93 departed her life on April 16, 2018 in Independence, MO, was born December 22, 1924 to the union of Orvester Cunningham and Sally Sue Wehers in Ringgold, Louisiana. Her pernal grandfher and grandmother, her husband Willie James Lee, brothers JB Cole, John L. Cole, sister Magnolia Roy, nephews, Elbert Roy (Sput), Willie BLunt Jr. ( Cocomo), daughter Jackie Lee, son Bobby Osbey, granchildren Tasha Lee, Richard Osbey, Ted Cunningham Jr, Markus Lee, Michael Lee, and gre grands Terrell Scott, KaVon Scott, Anthony Gray Jr. Kaden Hood, Emmanuel Espino all preceded her in deh. Gladys lived most of her life in Ringgold, LA, Joplin, MO and finally Kansas City, MO. She received her educion Southside High School in Ringgold, LA. Gladys reloced to Kansas City where she met her husband Willie J. Lee. She worked Research Medical Center, where she retired as a Home Health Nurse. Gladys accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior St. Luke*s II in Ringgold, LA. She became a member of Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Kansas City under the leadership of Rev. James C. Jackson. She became a member of the Good Hope Baptist Church when she moved back to Kansas City, Mo. to live with her son Clifton Lee (Deidra). She leaves to cherish her memories, sister Jannie Coes of Kansas City, three sons; Ted Cunningham, of Leavenworth, KS. Clifton Lee(Deirdre), Billy Lee of Kansas City, four daughters; Jerrie Collins, Wilma Hood, Karen Randle(Harry), and Fawn Lee of Kansas City, Missouri. 27 grandchildren, 57 gre grandchildren and 16 gre gre grandchildren, sister in law Mildred Cole of Minden, LA. and daughter in law Phyllis Osbey with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relives and friends.
