Eugene Hayes, Jr.

Eugene Hayes, Jr. 71 passed away on January 6, 2018, was born October 10th 1941 in St. Louis, Missouri; second of 17 children born to Eugene Hayes, Sr. and Daisy Nevels (Goodson). Both parents preceded him in deh. Eugene was well known as DOC which his love ones called him by. DOC tended school on August, Arkansas moved to Kansas City in 1962. DOC worked several auto repairs shops. He did a lot of work with his hands working on cars or fixing whever needed fixing. He wouldn’t stop until he had your car up and running. He always had a smile on his face and LOVED his people. He was not only preceded in deh by his parents, but also two sisters Debra and Shirley Goodson; and three brothers Charles, Donnie and Robert Goodson. Eugene (DOC) leaves to cherish his memories: one son Eugene Hayes (Amanda); stepson Eddie; five grandchildren; one gre grandchild; six brothers Chester, Michael, Calvin, Kenneth, Ronnie (Carol), and Steven; five sisters Gloria Briscoe, Diane Holmes, Terri Williams (Mike), Sheila Williams (Jerome),and Synetta Pten (Robert; and very close friend Maria Reynolds along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
