Esther Rose Valdivia Esther was born on November 18th, 1933, in Kansas City, MO., to Justo Diaz and Rosa Diaz. She was the youngest of seven siblings. Esther was preceded in death by her parents Justo and Rosa, Husband Albert Jr., and Daughter Lela Baker (Mike). Esther Rose Valdivia of Olathe, KS., passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Monday, November 11th, 2024, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. There will be a graveside mass on Saturday, November 16th beginning at 11am. The location is at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 7601 Blue Ridge Blvd., Raytown, MO. 64138, North side entrance garden, St Anthony Lot-102, Section * A. There will be a Rosary and Mass at a different date. Throughout her career, Esther worked in various roles that reflected her love for people. teaching at Switzer Elementary School to teaching English at Avila College. She then moved on to administrative assistant roles at Penn Valley Community College and retired from KU Medical Center. Esther leaves to cherish her memory to her sons Anthony Valdivia, Albert Valdivia III, (Candy), Arthur Valdivia, (Holly), daughter Rose Cahill (Pat).
