Emma Lee (Morris) Sanders

March 26, 2022 1:11am Emma Lee (Morris) Sanders, 85, embraced a new beginning. She came as a bundle of joy April 15, 1937, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to parents Thomas and Berice Morris. She moved to Kansas City, Missouri an early age, and gradued from Summit high school. Emma received her cosmetology license from House of Heavilin. She ler became a nurse working hospitals, nursing homes, and for families prively. Emma was always ready to give a helping hand if she could. You knew where to get a meal because she enjoyed making dinners and cooking. Constantly on the go, Emma loved to travel. She also liked sewing and singing. Mother Sanders was an active member Barker Memorial Chedral of Praise C.O.G.I.C. Some of her favorite scriptures th she would hold on to, to get her through life’s trials were Psalm 23, 27, and 91. She was preceded in deh by her parents; sisters: Tinnie Mae (Clemons) Brown, Leona (Clemons) Murray, and Juanita Morris; brother Issac Clemons; daughter Jannie L (Graham) Thomas, and gre grandson Malachi Murray. She leaves to remember her legacy daughters: Andrea Sanders and Crystal Sanders; grandchildren: Erika Brantley, Michael Graham, Sharon Graham, Rhene Hodges, Mayaka Hodges, and Phylicia (Fred) Anderson; gre grandchildren: Otis Haynes Jr, Eric (Tia) Brantley, Trae Brantley, Leigh Brantley, Miyora Graham, Brianna Arrington, She’Laya Mitchell, Jai’Lynn Odom, Bailey Kimble, Amariah Hodges, Elijah Marshall Jr, Micaiah Anderson, Moriah Anderson, Anaiah Anderson, and Sariah Anderson; gre gre grandchildren: Cairo Brantley, Myahna Brantley, Kingston Brantley, Xavier Brantley, Marlin Parker, Jaidyn Graham, Logan Graham, Frank Garner III, Skylar Garner, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and loved ones.
