Elizabeth “Betty” Simmons 77, passed away June 4, 2019 was born on February 26, 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Mr. Melvin Johnson and Thelma Williams. “Betty” reloced to Kansas City in the 50’s and tended Kansas City Public Schools. She was employed for many years as a manager for the Deluxe Bar-B-Q on Brooklyn. She enjoyed listening to the Blues and entertaining friends. Elizabeth “Betty” Simmons leaves with loving memories her longtime companion James McKinzie; and a host of nephews, neices, gre nephews and many friends.
