Obituary for Edith E. Webster

Edith Eileen Webster, 60, was born on June 16, 1956 in Postelle, Arkansas to the Genoia Dalton and the le William Stanford. Edith was preceded in deh by her grandparents, siblings and grandson. Edith confessed her belief and faith in Christ Jesus an early age. On May 8, 1972, Joe Lee Webster and Edith Eileen Westberry united in marriage. They spent 44 wonderful years together until the Lord called her home. To this union three children, Harold, Yolanda and Tarneisha were born. Edith joined Spruce Saint Mthew Baptist Church in 1976 where she served as an usher, choir member and worked in other areas as needed. Edith ler became a member of Bannister Road Baptist Church in 1993, where she was a faithful member until her deh. She was a member of the choir, served on the usher board and worked in the kitchen and served where needed. Edith was employed Safeway for 13 years. She ler became a homemaker and worked various jobs to keep her busy. Edith obtained her General Educion Certifice in 1996. She most enjoyed worshiping the Lord, cooking and spending time with her family and friends. Edith was called to eternal rest on Tuesday, September 20, 2016. She will be missed by all th knew and loved her. Edith leaves to cherish her love and memories: her beloved husband, Joe Lee Webster; her children: Harold (Darla) Webster, Wichita, KS; Yolanda Webster and Tarneisha Webster, Kansas City, MO; her grandchildren: Ja*Marcus, LaMon, Breanna, Lorenzo; her mother, Genoia Dalton; five sisters: Clara (Elias) Reed, Mary Westberry of Chicago, IL, Tina (John) Banks, Postelle, AR, Jacqueline Woods, Kansas City, MO and Jamilah “Rhee” Salahuddin, Chicago, IL; sister-in-law, Karin Herring; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
