Edgar Riley Banks 48 departed this life on July 8, 2016. Edgar was born in Kansas City, Kansas on March 28, 1968 to the union of Ella M. Newton (Banks) and Gus McAnderson whom along with two brothers preceded him in deh. Edgar tended Kansas City, Kansas public schools. He accepted Christ an early age. He was a brother, dad, and a grandfher as well. He enjoyed sking and music; he also was a jokester, always s making anyone in his company blush. He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter (Porsha Taylor), one son ( Edgar Banks, Jr.), five sisters, Barbara Perkins Silinzy (Charles), Erskinlene Belcher (Bud), Rita M. Goodwin, Deyvonne Love, and Doretha Stewart Cole. Three brothers Jerome K. Banks, LeeRay Banks, and Derrick Newton. Four grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and special friends. Also his girlfriend, Carolyn Mitchell. Long time faithful companion, Rosemary Edgar. Two personal caregivers and friends Neil Edgar and Thomas Jenkins as well as home boy, Jeff Taylor.
