Darrell Marrio Harden 38 departed this life on Friday, August 5, 2016. Darrell was born in Kansas City, MO August 31, 1977 to Terriassa Purnell (formerly Harden) and Darrell Dickerson. Terriassa A. Purnell preceded him in deh. Darrell grew up in Kansas City, MO. and gradued from Southeast High School in 1995. He tended Missouri Western College and completed his educion Blackwell trade school in Wisconsin, where he obtained his Masonry certificion and ler joined BAC Local Union 15 in Kansas City, MO. Darrell loved Christ and was member of Risen Lamb Church of Nazarene (Kansas City, KS). Darrell “Marrio” was a family man. He enjoyed spending time cooking, fishing, wching sports and taking care of his family which was his joy and passion. Making sure th everyone’s needs were met before his own. Regardless of the time of day or night, he would lend a listening ear and provide you with the tools th were essential to make your own decision. No mter the circumstance he kept everyone around him smiling and laughing. Darrell was the oldest of his siblings and opened his home to many of them. When Darrell’s mom passed, he played an intrical part of his sibling’s lives. the young age of 25, Darrell & Linda opened their home to 5 of his younger siblings and took care of them like they were their own. Darrell believed th being a dad and a mentor was one of the most important jobs a man could have. In 2013, Darrell Jr. and Darrell Sr. were invited to the White House for a Fher’s day Weekend & met with Senior White House officials and discussed the importance of being a mentor in your community. Darrell was also a coach for the Raytown Cardinals Football team. Darrell leaves behind a wife Linda Harden and 3 sons, Darrell Marrio Harden Jr. age 16, Dalyn Makhi Harden age 11 and Darius Maxwell Harden age 10. 18 brothers and sisters. Conise Harden, Conrad (Domonique), Ron (Priscilla), Krystal, Nalie and Nicole Purnell, Akilah Kelly-Criswell, Donnie Criswell Jr. Serele Lenoir, Shikira Hoy (Ronny), Darrell Dickerson Jr., Andrew “Levi” Jennings (Anna), Tonita and Dalton Dickerson, Meghan Ruffin and Kenneth Fuqua. A host of nieces and nephews Kierra, Anise, Castrele, Ronny Jr., Takira, Levi Jr., Brooklyn, Demeko, Quincy, Conrad Jr., Ron Jr., Eli, Rylei, and Raniyah.
