Cornelius T. Horton

Cornelius T. Horton was born October 9, 1957 in Kansas City, Kansas to the union of Mr. Charles Alex Horton and Donna Marie Horton. Cornelius departed this life on September 2, 2106. He accepted Christ an early age. Cornelius is preceded in transition by his mother, Donna Marie Horton, sister, Kay F. Horton, and brother, Calvin Alex Horton. *He was raised and educed in the Kansas City, Kansas School District. Cornelius* life was a very busy life indeed, always on the go, making friends along the way. He showed love, compassion, and sincere thought when caring for others. Everyone who knew Cornelius adored him; his neighbors apprecied his protective nure. He was the neighborhood wchman and always ready and willing to meet their needs. *Cornelius was known as a handyman; always fixing something. He was a certified electrician and carpenter, working constantly inside and out of houses. It was said th anytime the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church needed him, he was there to keep up maintenance repairs. He was known for his gre sense of humor and always having a joke or two to share. His laughter would never allow you to forget it or the sense of joy and delight it brought into everyone*s life. For th we give all glory and praise to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. *He leaves to cherish his memory, his (daughter) La Shonda Horton and (granddaughter) DeShanta Horton both of Kansas City, KS. (Fher) Charles Alex Horton, (three sisters) Evangelist Tana Huskey (Rev. Tarrell Huskey) of Clay County, MO., Gilda Ann Horton of Lenexa, KS., and Eleanor L. Horton, (two brothers) Terry Ray Horton of Kansas City, KS., and Charles Leapheart (Greta), as well as a host of relives stemming from uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and many personal and dearest friends.
