Obituary for Cornelia Isabelle Brown

Cornelia Brown 88 passed away Thursday, August 25, 2016. She was born November 15, 1927, to George and Pearl Alexander in Baden, Indiana. Cornelia Isabelle Brown was born on November 15, 1927 in Baden, Indiana to her parents Rev. George Alexander and Pearl Alexander (both preceded her in deh). She passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2016 Research Medical Center. Cornelia accepted Christ as a child and she was the youngest of eight children (Joe, Esther, Rosemary, Helen, Ben, Laura and Lucille) who all have preceded her in deh. She received her educion from the Leavenworth School District in Leavenworth, Kansas. Ler she received a degree in Business Administrion from the University of St. Mary*s in Leavenworth, Kansas. In 1945, she married Dudley Irvin Brown (deceased). To th union four sons were born: Michael A Brown, Ronald L Brown, Kenneth I. Brown (deceased) and Kevin D Brown (deceased). Two grandsons (LaMarcus Thomas and Michael Simmons) and a gre granddaughter (Kellis Marie Kirkland) preceded her in deh. Cornelia Brown was a very faithful and loyal member of Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church for over 60 years where she served on many ministries. She was a member of the Lone Star Chapter #2 OES F&AM/PHA as well as the Kansas City Assembly of the Golden Circle AASR Sister Brown retired from Mobile Oil then, ler taught De La Salle where she enjoyed working with children. She enjoyed traveling which included all fifty stes and internionally. Cooking, Sunday dinners and family time was something she took delight in. She was a strong, caring and giving person who loved her family, church, friends and was always willing to help others in need. Cornelia Isabelle Brown is survived by two sons: Michael Brown and Ronald Brown(Karmia), a stepdaughter: Jackie Reese; Sister in law: Anita Alexander, a special friend: Frank Sims, Six granddaughters: Ieisha Taylor, Sharonda Thomas (Dennis), Ericka Kirkland (Kelley), Shava Daniels (William), Krina Taylor and Fantayshia Taylor, Three grandsons: Keyion Brown, Antwone Brown of (Chicago) and Navarro Simmons; Many gre grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
