Clarence L. Fletcher, Jr.

Clarence L Fletcher, Jr. 64 passed away on May 14, 2016 was born on March 8th, 1952 in Kansas City, Missouri to Clarence Fletcher Sr. and Willa Bea Fletcher. He was preceded in deh by both parents, a brother, Craig Dean Fletcher and Brother-in-law, LeVelle R. Owens. Clarence accepted Christ an early age and he was baptized. He had an enormous love for his family and was always available to assist in the needs of them and others. Clarence tended the Kansas City Public School system and began his work career Gustin-Bacon Fiber Glass Plant. He then went on to further his career, specializing in carpet laying and installions as well as refurbishing and remodeling homes. Clarence often described himself as a “Jack of all trades and a Master of none”. Clarence was also known as a bartender expanding his work in the “Sebra” Associion, in numerous bars and nightclubs throughout the Kansas City area. Clarence had a gre pastime for fishing, and wching game shows such as “Jeopardy”, relishing in the fact th he could get most of the answers correct. He often stressed th he would like to be a contestant. “He was Smart”. Clarence departed this life on May 14, 2016 Research Medical Center after a brief illness surrounded by every immedie family member. He leaves to mourn his passing, Sister, Judy Owens-Seals (Greg), Brother, Carl G. Fletcher (Rolando), Nephews LeVaughn E. Owens (Marie), and Carl G. Fletcher, Jr. Nieces, Bridgette M McDaniel (Tracy), Ebony M. Hayes, and Tracey Roberts Clarence also leaves to mourn his passing, Grand-Nieces and Nephews, Brittany Brown, Dijae Hayes, Unique and Destiny Stacker, Jordan Owens, Myles Howard, Jhermayne Townsend, LeVaughn Owens, Jr., Denae Canady, Delon Canady, Kenneth Smith, and Desmond Canady. Although Clarence never married or bore children of his own, he considered and treed his siblings’ children as his own. Clarence also leaves to mourn his passing, a special friend, Ms. Donna Jones of Houston, Texas, and a vast and enormous host of friends.
