Carmela Lynn Briggs Allen

Carmela Lynn Briggs Allen was born to the union of Altrus & Mazell Briggs on March 2nd, 1976 in Kansas City Missouri. She attended Palistine Missionary Baptist Church with her family for many years as a youth & was known as "Toosie" by close family & friends. Carmela was educated in the Kansas City Missouri School district. She graduated from Metropolitan Advanced Technical High School where she studied childcare & development, Drama & held office in her local V.I.C.A ( Vocational Industrial Clubs of America) chapter. She pursued her dreams of becoming a Journalist & Writer at Saint Cloud University in Saint Cloud Minnesota. She later completed & received her CNA Certificate in Kansas City Missouri. She was preceded in death by her Mom Mazell, sister Darleatha, Her mothers Parent's - LeVester & Pearl Rainy of Arkansas & her fathers Patents - Ripley & Marqie Briggs of California. Carmela was joined in holy matrimony to Freddie Allen the 3rd in the Spring of 2006. Carmela was a lover of many things, but none more than her family. She was a healer & if you where her friend, you were her family too. Carmela lived a full life of love, light & joy that she shared with anyone she met. She passed on November 2rnd, while doing her healing work. She will be greatly missed by all. She leaves to cherish her memory Her Husband Freddie, children Freddie Daniel & Lillianna. Her siblings: Marsha of Ks, Randall of Mo, Sheila of Mo, Allen of Mo, Jarvis of Mo & Kimberly of Mo. And hoste of nieces, nephew's as well as great Nieces & Nephew's.
