Candice J. Alexander

Candice Jennell Alexander was born to Cornell Alexander and Bridget Quarrels on October 27, 1992. in Olathe Kansas where she grew up. Candice was a beautiful bright and very curious child. As a child, she would spend her summers with her maternal grandmother Margaret Morgan in Fort Smith, AR where she was the baby of the family, loved and spoiled. Candice had a heart for God at a tender young age. Often, she could be seen kneeling on the bed next to her grandmother learning how to pray. When we saw Candice, you were always greeted with a smile and huge dimples. Candice graduated high school from Blue Valley High School. Candice always had a heart to help and after HS, she attended UMKC College of Medicine. Candice Janelle departed life November 22, 2022. She is proceeded in death by her father Cornell Alexander; paternal grandparents Varl and Shirley Alexander; & maternal grandfather Charles Henry Johnson. She leaves to cherish her memory her mother Bridget Quarrels and Stepfather Overtis Quarrels of Olathe, Kansas; one sister Ciara Alexander of Louisiana; her maternal Grandmother Margaret Morgan of Fort Smith, (three maternal aunts) Loretta Adams (Glen) of Fredericksburg, VA; Ann Mayes and Lisa Johnson of Fort Smith. (Three paternal uncles) Dartez Alexander, Patrick Alexander and Anthony Alexander of Chicago, Il. (Three maternal great-aunts) Willie J. Johnson, Erima J. Grandberry, and Betty Johnson of Kansas City, Mo. A host of cousins, relatives and many friends. Anyone who was blessed to know Candice was greeted with a beautiful smile, open arms and huge dimples. She was loved and she loved her family. Candice will continue to be in the memories and hearts of those who loved her.
