Betty Jo Johnson

Betty Jo Johnson was born July 25, 1939 in Rosebud, Texas. She was the youngest child born to Mr. Miles Lewis and Dorthulia Davis-Lewis; to this union six children were born who all preceded her in deh. She received her educion from Oklahoma City School District. Betty Jo gradued from Douglas High in 1945. Betty Jo moved to Kansas City, MO from Oklahoma City after the deh of her mother. She was employed in Oklahoma City Accounts Payable II, for 15 years. She was also the Director of the YMCA Southeast 15th High for 10 years also in Oklahoma. In 1985 Betty returned to Kansas City, MO, where she worked as a waitress 6902 for many years. She also worked Deaconess Health Care Center as an Assistant Supervisor until her retirement in 1997. She leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Denise Harris, Dennis Lewis, Charles Etta Lockett, Damita Hill-Traylor, and Nicole Hill. Special children she raised Charles Hill, Deborah Simmons, Kevin Hill, Eric Hill, Erika Hill, Audrey Rowland. All of Kansas City, Missouri, as well as a host of Grandchildren, Gre Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
