Arnold L. Shelby III

Arnold L. Shelby III was born on March 23, 1999, to Arnold Shelby Jr. and Kelli Shelby. He departed his life on March 21, 2026, at University of Health Truman Medical Center. He attended school at Hickman Mills C-1 School District.

Arnold always had a kind heart full of love and life. He had an old soul, he loved hanging out with family and friends, we can’t forget he loved to eat. He would never let his pride hold him back no matter the circumstances. He was affectionally well known in the Kansas City area as “Boogie” . We are going to miss him so much and he will never be forgotten!

Arnold was proceeded in death by his father Arnold Shelby Jr, grandmother Deborah Wilson, grandfather Richard Davis Sr, grandfather James Weatherspoon, uncle Richard Davis Jr, uncle Arnie Perkins, special cousins, Te’onna Davis-Cannon and Mika Davis. He leaves to cherish his memories with his daughter Amarianna Love Shelby, mother Kelli Shelby, sister Arnisha Shelby, brothers Chris Charles, Chance Boles, grandmother Shaneece Weatherspoon, auntie Kenia Allen, uncle Marcus Cannon, nieces Miaira Nelson, Lyric Charles, nephews Michael Nelson III, Chris Charles Jr, Patrick Charles, and a host of cousins, family, and friends.

Funeral Service was held at MT. Olive MBC 4000 Harrison Ave., Kansas City, Missouri. Saturday, March 28, 2026 Visitation: 10:00-11:00, Funeral Service: 11:00 AM. Interment: XII Gates Memorial Gardens, Kansas City, Mo.
