Alton “Jerry” Black

Alton “Jerry” Black 68 passed away on January 12, 2018 was born on April 19th 1949 to Berice and William Black. Alton accepted Christ a young age and tended St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. He tended Central High School and ler went to work for and retired from the Plasterers Union Local 264 in Kansas City. He enjoyed fishing, drinking and spending time with family and friends. Alton found love an early age and was preceded in deh by his beautiful loving wife Claretha whom he married in 1970. He was also proceeded by his fher William Black, brother Leonard Black and two sister s Bonita Weems and Yolanda Black. Jerry leaves to cherish his memory: his one son Cortney J. Black (Kendra) of Kansas City, MO; four grandsons; Darius O. Crandall, Cortney J Black Jr., Cortell E. Black and Cortshawn Y. Black all of Minneapolis MN area ; one granddaughter Makaila Traylor of Kansas City, MO.; his loving mother Berice Black of Kansas City, MO; six brothers, Robert (Mary) Black of, Belton ,MO, William (Theresa) Black of Leawood ,KS , Charles (Annette) Black , Ronald (Mila) Black of Grandview, MO, Andrew Black, Steven Black of Kansas City, MO and four sisters Florene (Maurice) Washington, of Grandview, MO, Joyce Black, of Kansas City MO, Lenore Black of Portland, OR. Gwendolyn Willis of Kansas City, MO and a host of other relives and friends.
