Sam-Etta Cornelius

Sam-Etta Cornelius  was born on September 19, 1942 to Helen and Sammy Middleton and she departed this earthly realm on February 1, 2026 surrounded by loved ones. She was married to Sylvester Cornelius on July 18, 1960. Their union lasted 43 years until God called Sylvester home in 2003.

Sam-Etta attended Paradise Missionary Baptist Church of Kansas City, Missouri and she raised their children in a Christian manner. She worked for Kansas City School District for ten years in Food Service. She later worked in Food Service at the Federal Office Building for over 20 years until she retired in 2005.

Sam-Etta leaves to mourn her passing four children: Donna Gant, Sylvester Cornelius Jr., Sulester Cornelius and Carrie Mills (Tony Mills); 2 sisters: Grace Ford, Linda Baker (Carl Baker) and her Brother-in-Law John Caddiell. 21 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren and a host of family, loved ones and friends.
