James W. Trigg, Jr. aka “Jamie”

James W. Trigg, Jr. aka *Jamie* was born on April 27, 1978, to the union of James W. Trigg, Sr. and Linda Kay Trigg. James grew up in Kansas City, MO and graduated form Lincoln College Preparatory Academy. In 2010, James received his HVAC certification from Pinnacle Career Institute.

James was a devoted husband, father and grandfather *Pop Pop*, with a great sense of humor. He said family was the most important thing and he proved it daily. He loved music and sports and was an avid Chief*s fan.

On Sunday, June 15, 2025, James departed this earth after a 10-month battle of cancer. He was surrounded by family as he made his peaceful transition.

James was preceded in death by his father, James W. Trigg, Sr. and grandmother “Nana” Helen Trigg. his maternal grandparents grandmother Hildred Blackmon & grandfather Roy Herndon.,

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Asia Trigg; mother, Linda Trigg; sons James Trigg, III and Kevin Trigg; bonus children, Imani Blunt, Iyana Blunt, Andre Blunt, Jr., Imerie Blunt, and Adante Blunt; siblings Yvette Rogers, William Rogers, Vickie Chiney-Smith (Donald), and Sherie Frost (Odis Sr.); grandson. Major Robinson; bonus parents (cousins), Van and Sheryl Tucker; bonus siblings (cousins) Kymberleigh Johnson (Aaron), Tracie Tucker and Vanessa Tucker, and a host of other family and friends.
