D'Arrius "D'bo" Powell March 18,1997 - May22, 2025 D'Arius Powell was born March 18,1997 to Russell Powell and Timika Elkins in Kansas City, Missouri. He is proceeded in transition by maternal grandparent Tanis Franklin and Freddie Johnson; paternal grandfather Oscar Powell, elder brothers Marquin Elkins, and Byron Oglesby. Received hie education in the Kansas City, Missouri school district graduating from Grandview High School in 2015. He had a passion for cooking and went into food service as cook always finding joy in bringing people together through food and love. D'Arrius was a proud Grandview resident , he was known for his warm spirit ,bright smile and deep faith in Jesus Christ . He leaves to cherish his memory; his paternal grandmother Jacqueline "Jackie" Powell; mother Timika Elkins; father Russell Powell; uncles Rahiem Johnson, Michael Powell and Fred Powell; aunt Chantay Armstrong (Fred); siblings Russell Powell, Jr. (Tanisha), Chiquelah Powell, Freddie Powell, Lee Mavge, Mieshia Hamilton (Rahtez) and a host of cousins and friends. Visitation was held on Monday, June 9, 2025 at the ELITE Funeral Chapel 11525 Blue Ridge Blvd. KCMO , Interment was at XII Gates Memorial Gardens, KCMO
