Valerie Onita Mason

Valerie Onita Mason 56 passed away home on November 17, 2015. She was born on September 20, 1959 to the union of George and Corzena Mason. Both parents and six brothers preceded her in deh. Valerie lived in Kansas City, but loved to travel. She received her educion in the Kansas City, MO School district graduing from the De La Salle Educion Center. She worked for the Block family until recent retirement due to health concerns. She previously worked K-Mart and was everyone’s favorite bartender for many years in the 18th & Vine Jazz District. Valerie was a fabulous hostess and excellent cook. She had a gre heart, loved to entertain, and never met a stranger. She leaves to cherish her memory: the love of her life for 21 years Mark A. Cain, Daughter – Tracy Mason, Son – Donnell Mason, 4 grandchildren – Kryshawnda (Sweetie), Kelyn, Zylen, & Carli, Sisters – Beverly Bogan, Debbie Bernard, and Annay Mason, Brothers –  Shawn (Sylvia) Mason, Carl Mason, and Gregory Mason, a loving aunt Brady Lumpkin along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relives and friends.
