Lois Marvelle Johnston

Lois Marvelle Johnston 88 passed away peacefully on February 16, 2016 was boirn December 23, 1927 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to the union of Roosevelt McClinto and halonia McClinton. She was the fifth of the oldest of seven children,  she was precede in deh by both parents and 5 siblings. Lois tended high school in Morrilton Arkansas, where she met and married Oliver Davis. In the year of 1946, Lois was blssed to give birth to  a baby boy to whom her and Oliver named Herbert Davis. Olicer and Lois moved to Kansas City where there both joined the Mt. Olive Baptist Church and served faithfully under the pastore of Rev. Lemmons. After the deh of her husband  Oliver in March of  1974, while working the Monarch Egg Co,. Lois met and married her present husband James D. Johnston in the year of 1976 then reloced to  Los Angeles,California. Lois joined and became a faithful member serving on the board of the Bethseda Missionary Baptist Church. Her and her husband Jim were married 39 years until deh separed them. Lois devoted her life to raising her son Herbert and also using her gift of  ‘helping’ by serving others. She leaves to mourn her passing: her devoted husband James Johnston; one son Herbert Davis (Mary);  one brother William Henry McClinton of Los Angeles, CA; five grandchildren Marrissa Hurst, Herbert Daniel Davis, Regina Ambler(Mike), Helena Lois Davis, and Mthew N. Davis all of  Kansas City. Lois also leaves to mourn a host of loving friends and several other family members not mentioned.
