Jessie Mae Roberts

Jessie Mae Roberts 95 passed away peacefully May 21, 2018 was born July 16, 1922 to Addie Johnson and Buster Gaye in Foreman Arkansas. Mother Roberts has been a faithful Christian for over 45 years. After being Victory Temple under the guidance of Pastor Lawrence Farina, she and her husband Brother James Roberts, came to Miracle Valley Church under Pastor John McWhorter. Brother Roberts was an Usher until her went onto glory in 2001. They were married in Foreman, Arkansas before moving to Kansas City, Missouri in 1943 where he worked Swift Packing House. Although Mother worked various jobs; it seemed her main one was raising kids.. She is survived by 4 children James L. (Khy) Roberts, Chester L. Roberts, Barbara A. Smithand Sylvester (Marilyn Joyce) Roberts. She was preceded in deh by her youngest son Ronald E. Roberts in 2012. Mother Roberts helped raise several other children also.. There are grandchildren, gre-grandchildren, and gre gre grandchildren. Wh a Blessing! There are many cousins under Mrs. Jessie Washington as well as many many friends. She will be missed because she was a blessing to all!
