Ms. Joycetta Silvers

Joycetta Silvers, beloved mother, grandmother and friend, departed this life, April 3, 2021. Joycetta (Joyce) was born on June 3, 1955 in Kansas City, KS. to Willie Rand Sr. and Ruby Rand. Both parents preceded her in deh. She was also preceded in deh by her oldest brother Willie Rand Jr. Joycetta resided in Kansas City, MO. She worked as a Dental Technician for 27 years. Before retiring she worked for the Veteran’s Administrion. Joycetta accepted the Lord, Jesus Christ, as her savior a young age. She was baptized Friendship Baptist Church. Joycetta had an old soul. She loved to cook and if you came over her house, you definitely left her house with a hand full of food. She leaves behind to celebre her homecoming three siblings, Nhaniel Rand (Barbara) Kansas City, MO., Larry Rand (Toni) of Kansas City, MO. and Marquita Rand of Las Vegs, NV. Two children; a son Edward (Chielle) Rand of Kansas City, MO; a daughter Amber Potter of Kansas City, MO; five grandchildren, Marquis Boston of Milwaukee, WI, Brandon Rand of North Carolina; Kiara Rand of Kansas City, MO; Tyler Potter of Kansas City, MO; and Bobby Davis of Kansas City, MO. Two remaining priarch Earnestine Butler of Milwaukee, WI and Leo Rand of Kansas City, MO; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. All who knew and loved Joycetta will remember her for love of family, friends, life, and the Lord and truly down to earth. She will be missed but vividly remembered as we continue our lives.
