Obituary for Mr. Johnny L. Griffin Sr.

Minister Johnny L. “Prince” Griffin was a born-again believer in Jesus Christ from an early age. He nurtured his relionship with Christ as a member of the Rock of Salvion Bible Way Church where Bishop Billy Buckley licensed and ordained him as an associe minister. Minister Griffin had a profound love for the Lord, his family, and the congregion where the Holy Spirit was on fire for almighty God. His ministry was to the neighborhood as a street minister, and he loved the people unconditionally as he shared the Good News with them. He would often minister profoundly and powerfully about his desire to go to heaven and the same strong desire for his family and all he encountered with the Gospel. His life and ministry were molded and shaped under the wisdom and guidance of Bishop Billy Buckley, Bishop Timothy Clay, and Bishop Raymore Jenkins. Minister Griffin entered time on March 23, 1966, to the union of John Griffin and Cherrie Griffin as their eldest child. He received his formal educion in the Kansas City Public School system and gradued from Ruskin High School in 1985. Throughout his career he worked Millard Refrigerion in Edwardsville, KS for 20 years. He was also an independent used car dealer and good mechanic who went out of his way to ensure th everyone could afford to ride. Family was the most important and enjoyable part of his life. His union with Crystal Griffin was blessed with two daughters: Princess and Jasmine Griffin. Ler, in his union with his present wife, Leia Griffin, he was blessed with Prince and Jaden Griffin along with Terrance Morris, Leia Morris, Aaliyah Morris, and Autumn Dunn. Being a fher and grandfher was the highlight of his life because he loved taking his children to fun activities. They enjoyed football, basketball, Worlds of Fun, Chuckie Cheese, bowling, and church. Birthday parties for the kids was a passion of his because he wanted those treasured memories to last forever. After fulfilling his assignment in time Minister Griffin earned his wings on Surday, December 11, 2021. The loved one’s who will cherish his cherish his memory include his fher, his mother, his wife, his brothers: Carlos Griffin, Antonio Griffin, and Kenny Harlin (God-Brother), his children, his grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends th includes two very special friends, DeAngela and Eric Dunn.
