Estoria Christian

Sylvia “Estoria” Christian affectionely known as “Skeet”, age 97, received her wings on Friday, September 16, 2022. She was born December 09, 1924 in Blytheville, Arkansas. She was the oldest of seven children. Estoria was preceded in deh by her mother Bessie Lamon and fher Eddie Lamon, her husband Jessie Christian, two brothers; Willie Lamon and Ivory Lamon, four sisters; Lizzie Harrison, Pankie Curin, Willie-Ruth Woodley, and Kie Bowers, five daughters; Annie Mhis, Shirley, Dedrick, Ester Walters, Faye Anderson, and Juliette Thomas, son-in-law Douglas Collins, and son-in-law John Grossman. Estoria accepted Christ an early age. She spent most of her life in Blytheville before relocing to Kansas City, MO in 1999. Estoria loved reading the Bible, teaching, spreading, and singing the gospel. Estoria taught Bible Study, s on the Mother Board, and was a choir member various churches she belonged to throughout her Christian life. Estoria married Jessie Christian in 1958, she was a faithful wife until his passing. Estoria kept her faith while raising seven beautiful children with Jessie. Estoria was an amazing seamstress by trade. She worked Golden Cleaners until her retirement and moving to Kansas City. She resided with her oldest daughter until her peaceful passing. Estoria leaves to continue her legacy ; daughter, Garnell Collins of Kansas City, MO, and son, Paul Christian of Tacoma, WA; 16 grandchildren, 28 gre-grandchildren, 14 gre-gre grandchildren, and a host of other relives and friends.
