Rickey Levelt Canady

Rickey Levelt Canady 58 passed away peacefully on May 4, 2017 was born August 11, 1958 in Morrilton, Arkansas to Sylvia Jean Canady. He was preceded in deh by his grandparents, Ozie and Frances Canady, his aunts, Eliza, Lacy, and Rose; his uncles, Melvin, LeVester, and J.C.; his stepfher’s, William Fleming, Sr. and Hurley E. Byers, Jr. Rickey tended elementary school in Cleveland, Arkansas. When the family moved to the Kansas City area in 1965, he tended Dunbar elementary school and Martin Luther King, Jr. and Southeast Senior High School. He received his G.E.D. He accepted Christ an early age under the leadership of Rev. J.B. Randolph Gethsemane Baptist Church. He joined Paradise Missionary Baptist Church on April 30, 2017 under the Pastoralship of Rev. Michael C. Phillips. Rickey loved to draw. He was really a gre Artist and Illustror. He collected remote control cars. Rickey was an avid Kansas City Chiefs and a Kansas City Royals fan. He loved to barbecue and spending time with his family. He enjoyed listening to Gospel music, especially Kirk Franklin. Rickey leaves to cherish his memory: his mother Sylvia J. Byers of the home; one brother William Fleming II; two sisters Felecia Fleming and Vivian Fleming all of Kansas City, Missouri; his aunt Cora Surrt of Morrilton, Arkansas; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, other relives and friends. He also leaves his fher Vernon Bennett of Denver, Colorado; his special uncle William C. Dean of Denver, Colorado, and special cousin Shelbia Bennett of Davenport, Iowa.
