Obituary for Randy Earl Brooks

The parents of Randy Earl Brooks. Barbara Nell Brooks and William Michael Brooks were loving, compassionate and proud parents. Randy was born on January 20, 1959. He was the fourth child out of seven.

Randy departed this earthly existence on Monday, January 20, 1959. Our hearts are saddened for this loss. Those that precede him in transition are his parents, two brothers and two sisters.

At the tender age of ten, Randy was baptized by Rev. G.E. Wright at Union Baptist Church in Morrilton, Arkansas. He was a proud graduate of Morrilton High School, his achievements extend beyond academics. He was honored to earn a place in Who's Who among American High School Students, Randy had a life long passion for sports, particularly football and basketball. His love for boxing was a treasured hobby, as well as entertaining friends and lighting up the grill.

Randy served his country honorably in the United Sates Navy, including serving on the USS Peleliu combat assault ship as "naval infantry" where he was awarded numerous commendations including the Bronze Star for meritorious service.

After his military service Randy went on to become the founder and owner of Allstate Environmental Hazardous Material Abatement Service, a successful company that he proudly built from the ground up.

Randy was a devoted father of four children, who he loved dearly. He was married to Marilyn Hughes-Brooks, but tragically became a widower in the final months of his life. His dedication and contributions to his family and the love for friends and his community was unshakable.

Randy leaves to cherish his memory three sons Spencer Brooks(Briana), Gregory Brooks, Korey Brooks; daughter Jasmine Brooks(Monte'); eight sisters Barbara Strickland, Adrian Gibbs, Harriet Yocum(Michael), Jacqueline Black, Peggy Criswell, Coretta Blanchett(Gerald), Vanessa Lee(Robert), Lettiana Jeffers; four brothers Eric Criswell(Renell), Frank Payne, Mark Payne and Mocery Payne; two sister-n-law's, Virginia Moore(Clayborn), Elizabeth Rose.

Funeral Services in Kansas City were held Thursday, February 27,2025 at MT. Siani MBC 3700 Brooklyn Ave. Kansas City, MO.

Graveside Services will be held Saturday March 1, 2025 at the Owens Cemetery 138 Jenkins Rd

Morrilton, AR 72110. With Full Military Honors.
