Phylicia Jones

Phylicia Jones, age 39, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2026 in Kansas City Missouri. Phylicia Jones was born on May 5, 1987 in Kansas City, Missouri to Micheal Harry Jones Sr. and Lena Ann Jones. She grew up in Kansas City and she was educated in the Kansas City School District. Phylicia received her Associate Degree from Ultimate Medical Academy in Medical Billing and Coding. She was baptized at a young age at Saint John Lutheran Church. Phylicia Jones was a beloved mother, daughter, and sister to her family. She leave behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories. Phylicia Jones was known for her contagious laugh, sense of humor, and love braiding hair. Phylicia Jones is preceded death by her Father Micheal Harry Jones Sr, paternal grandparents Clyde and Fannie Jones. Maternal grandparents Sam and Willie Mae Mosley and many other relatives. She survived by her mother, Lena Ann Jones, KCMO; her children, Za’Riyah Hardnett and Za’Niya Jones, of KCMO; Her brother Micheal Jones Jr. ( Ashley), of Independence MO; Her sisters, Phyllis Jones, Kristal Jones of KCMO. Her nephews Micheal Jones III and Markel Jones. Her niece Averie Gordon; her Aunt, Myrtle Montgomery of Raytown MO; two Uncles Clyde Jones Jr. ( Cheryl) of KCK; Don Jones of New York, and host of other relatives and friends. Funeral service were held Thursday, June 18, 2026 at the ELITE Funeral Chapel 11525 Blue Ridge Blvd, KCMO 64130. Malcolm Morris, Funeral Director
