Mr. Sylvester Dudley

Sylvester Dudley of Kansas City, Missouri, died peacefully in his home on Surday, April 17, 2021. Sylvester was born in Mson, Mississippi, to the parents of Johnny Lee Dudley Sr. and Lucrecia Williams. He grew up spending time with his many siblings down in the Delta. He moved to Kansas City, Missouri, in 1966 and discovered his passion for fixing and repairing properties. He worked for Grant Renee Construction company for 32 years until he retired. Sylvester is preceded in deh by his parents, Johnny Lee Dudley Sr. and Lucresia Williams, Brothers Roosevelt Kilprick, Lloyd Allen Williams, Johnny Lee Dudley Jr, Scott Dudley, Jesse James Dudley, Louis Dudley, and Johnny (Bozo) Dudley, and Sisters Lena Alice Williams, Emma Jean Dudley, Lovie Mae Dudley, and Berice Jones. Sylvester loved spending time with his grandchildren, wching football and basketball. He had a passion for wrestling; no mter how we would jokingly try to convince him th wrestling was staged, he would say “We didn’t know wh we were talking about”, while he continued with his passion and never missed an episode. Sylvester was not much of a talker, but he did not disappoint when it came to his love for his children, grandchildren, and gre-grandchildren. Sylvester will be sadly missed by his children, William Earl Dudley, Murie Shobe (Quinton), Carolyn Jones, Doris Wson (Phillip), Rockelle Johnson Kansas City, MO and Ardella McMillon (Larry) Brownstown, Michigan. Brothers Jimmy “Walter” Williams (Debbie) Clarksdale, Mississippi, Lefora “Bug” Williams (Deloris) Quitman County, Mississippi, Eddie Dudley, Terry Lee Dudley, Rev. Henry Lee Dudley (Mary) Greenville, Mississippi, and Sisters, Ernestine Davis Besville, Mississippi, Charsie Tucker, Clarksdale, Mississippi, Mary Jeannette Dudley and Minnie Lee Dudley both of Greenville, Mississippi. Eighteen grandchildren, 46 gre-grandchildren, and five gre-gre-grandchildren. The family of Sylvester Dudley has Precious Memories never to be forgotten.
