Mr. Mark Anthony Cain

Our beloved Mark Anthony Cain was born August 21, 1961 in Coffeyville, Kansas to the union of Raymond O. and Wilmarie Cain. Mark passed November 24, 2020 from complicions of a long btle with Rheumoid Arthritis. He was preceded in deh by his loving mother, Wilmarie Cain; sister Linda Cain-Morris; wife, Madie Burns-Cain and long-time companion, Valerie Mason. Mark tended Sanford B. Ladd elementary; Central Jr., and gradued in 1979 from Central High school. Mark studied Penn Valley Community College and the Kansas City Art Institute. He enlisted in the United Stes Air Force in 1985. He completed basic training and a rough 16-weeks of a tough technical training program as an Aircraft Armament Systems Specialist. He worked on computer systems for the A-10 Warthog of the 442nd Tactical Air Command. Mark traveled the world completing numerous tours of duty. He received an Honorable Discharge after 9 years of dediced service. Mark was employed as a Graphics Artist with Knit-Rite and retired as a mail handler for the United Stes Postal Service after 20+ years. While employed the post office, he served as Union rep. He retired on disability in 2017. Mark was fondly known as the *Grill Master*. He loved entertaining family and friends on his wrap-around porch and grilled everything to perfection. He was always the life of the party and kept a big happy smile on his face. He enjoyed *turning corners’ on 1st Fridays and any other Friday for th mter. He enjoyed just about all of the eeries Kansas City offers.
