Mr, John Golston 55 was born in Nchitoches, Louisiana on May 28, 1960 to Mr.. Mthew Golston and Dorothy Leassear Golston whom both preceded him in deh. John was also preceded in deh by four brothers, Sam Golston, Travis Golston, Clyde Golston, and David Golston; also three sisters Essie Golston-Anthony, Claretha Golston-Bailey, and Betty Golston-Mitchell John Golston confessed in Jesus Christ and was baptized an early age and united with the Choctaw Island Baptist Church. He was educed Nchitoches Central High School. On October 31, 2015, John Left us to be with the Lord leaving behind to cherish his fond and unforgettable memories: his loving wife Mrs. Donna Golston of Kansas City; three sisters, Shirley Moses (McKinley), Sharon Golston-Payton (Charles) both of Nchitoches, Louisiana, Dorothy Small of Houston, Texas; six brothers, Mthew Golston, Jr. (Mary), Floyd Golston (Rita), Donald Golston (Marilyn) of Los Angeles, California, Ricky Golston (Rozelyn), Ronald Golston (Mary), Billy Golston (Nadine) all of Houston Texas; two aunts, Auntie Doretha Leassear of Houston, Texas and Auntie Louella Newton (Berdell) of Corona, California; two uncles, Melvin Leassear (Helen) of Los Angeles, California and Johnnie Leassear (Betty) of Sun City, California; four sisters-in-law, Cynthia Nash of Campti, Louisiana, Krina Thomas, Demetria Criswell (Donnie), Cassandra Jennings all of Kansas City; one stepson (King) Bobby Morton (Sarah) of Wichita, Kansas; two brothers-in-law, Major Bailey, Sr. and Melvin Mitchell; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends not mentioned or forgotten.
