Mr. Henry Jimmerson

Henry C. Jimmerson The sun rose on July 11, 1927 and set on March 16, 2020 for Henry C. Jimmerson. He was born in Helena, Arkansas and lived in Marianna, Arkansas. While in Marianna, he mriculed from Morton High School and his spiritual foundion was set Mount City Baptist Church. In his spiritual journey he served in the following roles as Deacon, Sunday school teacher and worked with outreach ministries. As a member of Friendship Baptist Church, he served in the following ministries: JUDAH Sheepfold, Sunday School and Wonderful Wednesday. Henry served his country for several years as a cook in the Army, after his military service he reloced to Kansas City, Missouri and worked Yellow Freight Company for many years until his retirement. Never one to sit idle, he then worked as a crossing guard for the Kansas City Public Schools as well as fruit and vegetable vending, he had the best wermelons in town!. Henry leaves to cherish with fond memories, his wife of 19 years Mrs. Elnora Jimmerson. Children: Charles Leggs (Lisa) of Kansas City, MO, Faye Ford of Forrest City, AR, Marquetta (Herman) of Kansas City, MO, Nichole Jimmerson (Texas), Kenneth Larry Wyt of Kansas City, MO and Helen Jimmerson-Johnson of Durham, NC. Henry was blessed with 4 grandchildren, 6 gre grandchildren, 2 gre-gre grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Henry enjoyed bowling, Dominoes, the KC Royals and KC Chiefs. But his real joy was serving, singing and praising the Lord! He was a living example of a child of God. He always prayed and asked God to let his words and actions be pleasing in God*s site. Henry wanted to world to see Jesus in his life.
