Mr. Elijah Beard IV

Elijah Beard IV. Was born on March 20,1929 in Pittsburgh, Texas to the blessed union of Lucille Boyd and Obie Beard. His parents, two brother’s Alfred and Arthur Beard, one sister Carrie Lee Beard, Uncle Herman Horio and grandson Keith Beard all preceded him in deh. Elijah tended school in the Pittsburgh Texas School system and upon finishing, he enlisted in the United Stes Army and received an Honorable Discharge. In 1953 he married Rose Hten and to th union six children were born. Elijah married Joyce Dean Allen in 1964 and to th union three children were born. Both wives preceded him in deh. Elijah was loved by all who knew him and he was a wonderful provider to his family and others. Elijah left his earthly body to gain his Heavenly Wings on Surday, October 24 home. To cherish his loving memories he leaves his loving children, Delta Beard, Sr. “Pennie”, Kanzola Shorts, Trevor Beard, Roy Beard “Sonya” Nicoletta Beard, Kevin Beard, Jiovanna Beard, Mary Beard and John Beard, his brother Clarence Andrew, a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relives and friends not mentioned nor forgotten. And A very special friend Dorothy Shaw.
