Mr. Antwon Dixon

Antwon Dixon, 40, of Grandview, MO, passed away on June 18th, 2021 surrounded by loved ones. Antwon or Twonny as his loved ones knew him was born on June 28th, 1980 to Denise Dixon and Lawrence Dixon in Kansas City, MO. Antwon first tended the United Cerebral Palsy School from the time he was 6 months old until he was five. He then tended BW Shepard followed by Trails West where he gradued from in 2001. After graduion, he went to Generions Adult Day Program until he received in home nursing care. Antwon was a member of Concord Fortress of Hope Church in the Ruskin/Hickman Mills area of Kansas City. The consumme fighter, Antwon defied the odds time and time again in his life. Once his disability was discovered doctors gave him a life expectancy of two years and he be th by 38 years. Through every piece of adversity th he faced he still always managed to keep a smile on his face. Th smile is one of the first things people mention when speaking of Antwon. Antwon was truly an inspirion to many and as his younger brother Anthony would say a “Hero”. Greeting Antwon in Glory are his fher Lawrence Dixon, his grandparent’s Leroy Mays, Juanita Mays, Marva Williams, wood Williams, Felix Dixon, Earlie Mays, Georgia Mays, Addie Clark, Lafayette Clark, Isabelle Davis and, niece Arianna Dixon. Left to Cherish his memory is his mother Denise Dixon of Grandview, MO, brothers Anthony Dixon (Ashley) of Grandview, MO, Joshua Diggins of Kansas City, MO, Jeremy Diggins of Kansas City, MO, Isaiah Lewis of Kansas City, MO, and Allante Mallard of Nashville, TN, sisters Chelcie Walker of Kansas City, MO, Larisha Dixon of Independence, MO, and Lola Mallard of Columbia, TN, and nephews Jordan Hardin and Anthony Dixon Jr. and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Family Friends. Visition will be held July 3, 2021 United Believers Community Church 5600 E 112 Terrace, Kansas City, MO from 11AM-1PM. Services will be held immediely following the Visition and officied by Pastor Miki Collier.
