Mary R. Nelson

Mary Ray-Nelson 69, passed on February 24, 2019 was born June 14, 1949 to Lougenia Ray in Kansas City, Missouri. She tended Kansas City, Missouri public schools and ler went to work for 17 years the 7-up Bottling Company from which she retired and ler with Tee Fee Floral Company and many hours of work the Veterans Administrion Office. Mary met and married LaDell M. Nelson in 1968 and their union was blessed with four children. She joined Community Progressive MBC under Pastor Columbus Short, Sr. where she gave her life to Christ and was baptized, then Mary became a member Greer Solid Rock MBC under the pastore of the le Rev. A.L. Johnson, she then moved her membership to Bibleway Deliverance Pentecostal Church under the leadership of Bishop Roland Joyner. She is proceeded in transition by her mother, husband and two brothers Robert Jackson and Troy Ray. Mary leaves with precious and loving memories her children; Ladella Nelson-Riley, Anthony Nelson, Alphonso Nelson and Bridgette Nelson-Lewis; two stepchildren Maruice Nelson and Genevieve Nelson-Barns; brother Thomas Ray; sister Htie Ray-Fountain and a host of grandchildren, gre grandchildren, family and many friends.
