Marilyn Elaine Sanders

Marilyn Elaine Sanders, was born in Steele, Missouri on November 8, 1964. She was delivered by her grandmother Twinsey Bean, who proceeded her in transition. Marilyn along with her family relocated to Kansas City in 1966. She is also preceded in death by her brother Larry Bean. Marilyn attended private school and continued her education in Kansas City Public Schools, graduating early, she went on to attend Donnelly Junior College were she obtained her Associates of Arts Degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse, she spent many years in the healthcare field. While still young she started working in dietary in Nursing Homes, Child Care Centers as well as for Private Families. Marilyn was a professional domestic and private duty caregiver for well known Kansas City Families for several years. Marilyn grew up in the Church of God In Christ as a member of Faith Mission COGIC under the Pastorate of the late Hubert Lambert Sr., she later joined the Sprit Life Church under the Leadership of Dr. Diane Banks where she served in several offices as well as the Home and Foreign Missions traveling to many places such as Costa Rica, teaching and spreading the gospel of Christ. Marilyn, joined the Citadel of Prayer City of Hope under the Leadership of Doctor Rodney M. Sanders and Doctor Viola M. Sanders, where she remained a member until her passing. She was an ordained Evangelist and continued her ministry. Marilyn leaves to cherish with loving memories her children son Marlin E. Sanders Sr. and daughter MaKayla E. Sanders; her parents Bishop Rodney Sanders and Apostle Viola Sanders; grandchildren Mar'Nyn, Marlin Jr., Mar'Zyah Sanders; her siblings Stephen Sanders(Deidre'), Stephanie Sanders and Chantay Sanders; a special uncle who was rased with her like a brother Mark A. Bean(Anita); a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews family and many friends. Funeral Service Held, Saturday, December 7, 2024 at the Community Fellowship Church 3838 Emanuel Cleaver II Blvd., KCMO. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 Am, with service at 11:00 Am. Entombment will be at the Parklawn/ Memorial Park Mausoleum, Kansas City, MO.
