Joan Pittman

  Joan Pittman 69 passed away on June 11, 2016 was born July 31, 1946 to Mary M. (Sipes) Kinyoun and Frank Edward Kinyoun in Warrensburg, Missouri. She was the first of two born to this union. Her mother and fher preceded her in deh. She tended Reece Elementary School in Warrensburg, Missouri through the fourth grade and then moved to Chillicothe, Missouri where she tended Central Grade School and Chillocothe High School. She married Grant Eugene Pittman on September 3, 1964. To this union four children were born; Grant Eugene (Junior), Angelae Leona, Robert Edward, and Jeffrey Wayn. The marriage was dissolved many years ler. Joan was baptized by the le Rev. Louis Jefferie Mount Zion Baptist Church in Chillicothe, Missouri, she ler moved to Kansas City, Missouri and became a faiuthful and loyal member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, and was very involved with her church family and tended regularly until her health began to fail. Joan loved helping people and often had a number of people stay for short times in her home. Her door was open to everyone and she was an excellent cook. Her passion was caring for others, and when her health was good, she did in-home health care for a number of elderly individuals. Joan departed this life on Surday June 11, 2016 to be with her Heavenly Fher leaving to cherish her memory: her children, Grant Eugne (Junior), Angelae Iverson (Melvin), Robert Edward, and Jeffrey Wayne, all of Kansas City, Missouri; sisters, Pricia Jackson-Arnold (Anthony) Kansas City, Kansas and Rita Dancer of Kansas City, Missouri; Grandchildren Shanetee, La’Mel, Jaysha, Iyanna, Isiah, D-Marcus, and Jeffrey, Jr.; one gre grandson Xyvazion; one niece Candy Rex Cowings (Todd); three gre nieces, Aliyah, Chonte, and Kierra, all of Fresno, California; and a host of other relives, friends, and her church family Mt.
