James Donald Johnston

James Donald Johnston 78 passed away on November 24, 2017 was born on August 29, 1939 to the union of James Daniel Johnston and Velma Margaret Eliely in Hiawha, Kansas. James was the only child born to this lovely couple. James went on to receive his educion where he ler gradued from Brown County High School in 1956. James was a hard worker, driving 16 wheelers across the country and eventually moving to Kansas City where he ler started working the Monarch Egg Co.. While working the Monarch he met his now deceased wife of 39 yrs. (Lois M. Davis). Jim and Lois where united in marriage after moving to California on June 27, 1976. While living in California Jim and Lois joined the Mt. Ziggual Baptist Church under the pastore of Henry Redd.Jim received Christ and was baptized July 4,1976. While living in California health issues became a factor in his life which forced him to stop driving the heavy trucks and settle down working the Nional Building Concrete Hardware Co. Jim and Lois ler moved and Lois joined the Betheda Baptist Church under the pastore of Rev. Robert Arline Jr. While living in California in a house owned by Rev. Moore, health became an issue for both Jim and Lois causing them to live with live with their son Herbert in MO in 2014. While living with their son they had to be placed in Highland Rehabilition Center after Lois went to be with the Lord on February 16, 2016. James ler joined her after a short fight with cancer and wanted to be with with his (Sugar). He leaves to cherish his memories step-son Herbert Davis (Mary) and a host of grandchildren all living in Kansas City, Missouri
