Gwendolyn Robinson-Elliott

Gwendolyn Elliott was born September 2,1947, to the union of J.C. Punch and Clara M. Brown in Houston, Texas who has proceeded her in death along with one sister Sharon Lee.

Gwen was educated in Houston school district before moving to Kansas City area as a young girl. She confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and united with Zion Grove Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor A.L. Johnson, Sr. At the time of her passing she was a faithful member at Spruce St Matthew Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor George Barnes Jr., where she faithfully served on the usher board.

Gwen was employed as an LPN with the Visiting Nurse' Association until she retired after 30 years of hard work and dedication. After retirement she worked with Elite Funeral Chapel. Gwen was united in holy matrimony to Alvin C. Elliott on February 15,2014.

Our Angel departed this life for her heavenly home on Friday May 15, 2026 at Kansas City Hospice House.

Our Angel was famous for her 7-up pound cakes, care taker, care giver for anybody she came in contact with, all around loving woman who will truly be missed by many and left her mark of kindness on so many people.

She leaves her precious memory with her husband Alvin Elliott, One son Byron Butler of Texas, One daughter Laronda Franklin of Kansas City, One brother Alfred Brown of Kansas City, One grandson La*Ron Craig of Kansas City, Two Granddaughters Brittany Clay (Jenn) of New York, Bre*Anna Banks of Kansas City. Three great grandboys Jaylen Craig, Kameron Craig, Anthony Kimber Jr. all of Kansas City. Host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
